Something to Read.......this little booklet with some lovely little recipes

Something for the Sewing Room plus fabric
A gorgeous fat 1/4......Shirt pins.......Magnetic Pin Collector and 2 quilt labels

Something Smelly.......a Lavender soap bar in a little gauze bag all beaded!!!

Great pressies and such fun to open one a day (with great restraint held)!!!
Thank you so much Helen for these very thoughtful gifts and also to Maree for hosting this fabulous Swap!!!

And on a different note here I went up to Canberra earlier in the week and had seen these shoes before a few times......being a sucker for shoes this time they came home with me!!!  I just love the colour.....

Gosh hasn't this year just flown by......My Mother used to say that the older we get the faster time true is this!!!

Your mum was right my friend! I remember when I was a child, Christmas day could NOT come fast enough. I'd be naughty and go find my gifts wrapped up, somewhere in the closet, and I'd OPEN THEM UP! teeeheeee....what a bad girl!

But now, Christmas day is coming WAY TOO FAST but each day is savored more, I no longer try to peel back the tape to get a look at what's inside, and I'm content.

LOVE THE COLOR OF THOSE SHOES and I too am a sucker for new shoes and right now, I want new booties!

Thank you for coming up to THE NORTH POLE (it sure feels like it; it's been well below zero Farenheit!)

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
