~Some Stitching...Wool...a Carnival and a Book~

I haven't really done much stitching at all this January but I thought I would try out the addictive thread catchers that a lot of people are doing throughout blogland....I made 2 and they are certainly contagious!!!  I've cut out another 4....

Even tried out a fancy stitch on the top of one...

During the month I washed some homespun wool my Son and partner bought back from Argentina for me...

Mr Armchair took JoJo to a local carnival for a ferris wheel ride and they saw a Fairground Organ there...

Here she is on the top of the wheel

Looking at north over Corrigans Beach

I received this book and I'm soooooo looking forward to starting it and seeing Mr Lincoln the film when it starts...

On the knee front I've had accupuncture and am amazed at the result
My friend had some too and she's amazed
Can we be lucky a 3rd time...my Son goes today

Now I better get my act together and do those threadcatchers for OPAM (One Project A Month) which I have joined again this year
OPAM is hosted by Peg and Kris and there is still space to join...

Happy Stitching......can it be February already?!

Lovely thread catchers, the bird fabric is gorgeous. What will you make with the wool? Exciting new book, I haven't seen that one. Good news about your knee.

Auduma kastītes ir tik jaukas! Uzreiz atrastos, ko tur ielikt.
Arī mani gaida šujmašīna, meita ir pasūtījusi dāvaniņu skolas draudzenei.

I love the threadcatchers! Now I'm going to see if I can find out what they're for. My carpet catches most of mine and then I burn out the vacuum cleaner trying to pick them up!

Love fairground photos, specially the fairground organ. I love those things! I even have them playing on youtube when I'm sewing!

Sweet Dzintra! I just barely got into my blog comments; I worked all day yesterday!

Oh, I can't wait to see how your purple cake comes out. And I wonder what the frosting will be like?!!

Have a splendid summer day. We had -20 Farenheit yesterday (with windchill- it all feels COLD to me!)

Dzintra, dear...I am so sorry about this intense weather you are having...my goodness.
Was it a cooler day when JoJo and Dad were out??
What a stunning view!
Again, wishing you continued healing with that acupuncture, that is just marvelous.

Goodness, you have been busy! I felt too guilty to sign up for OPAM this year...the last 2 have started out fine....then I begin to procrastinate....mind you, SAL would have kept me honest. The fair looks wonderful - I bet JoJo had a lovely day!
