This blog is all about me......I come here for respite in between caring for JoJo (our Daughter who has Special Needs)......I am addicted to starting new projects......I am becoming a fabric-a-holic... I love to try out recipes... take a beach walk and breathe in that salty blue air......love to have coffee...sip a glass of champagne......read a book......I am Queen of the Armchair and am inspired by all the wonderful blogs out there!!!

A Catch Up Post

Mr Armchair is having a few issues with his leg at the moment
Blood tests are clear as is an x-Ray so it's off for an MRI to see what is going on
This means double-duty caring for me along with JoJo
But nevertheless we had some respite care booked for night out at our local Indian Restaurant so he hobbled along to that

I couldn't have the Nan Bread as it isn't gluten free but was very happy with my Pappadums......so crisp and crunchy

Only 2 gluten free Entrees so I chose this Lamb Mince Roll with A Mint Sauce......very, very tasty!
Beef Rogan Josh for him......Chicken for me and Sultana and Saffron Rice
No Dessert for me......they seem to put Wheat Flour into everything......this time in the Mango Purée which is behind the Cream and Wafer.
We thoroughly enjoyed a few hours off and was inspired to go here after seeing The Hundred Foot Journey.

Couldn't resist this little pic of my gorgeous Great Nephew Connor

And in my sewing world I am working on my Faerie Quilt and enjoying collecting my Aurifil Thread Collection from Sarah

I'm having a bit of trouble keeping up with commenting on everyone's blogs but I do read them all......it's how I start my day before JoJo's up and when she is it's Game On along with Mr A as well.

Have a great week Dear Readers......Dzintra

Oh dear, that little Connor has stolen my heart this morning...with his little "man" hat and his little waving hand...do you know how much I adore little baby boys? They are spunky and precious, and I love that! teeeee

Oh the food looks GREAT, DZINTRA! I wonder why however, wheat flour would appear in mango purée?

Have yourself a fabulous week my dear! ANita

I hope Mr's leg is just a temporary thing and he'll be okay in no time. At least you were able to have a night out for yummy indian food! I love that box of all different colours of aurifil! how pretty, do you belong to a thread club? I like reading blogs in the morning too, it's the quiet tiart of the day. You have a great week too!

Oh no Mr Armchair! He might needs an armchair of his own!!! Mr Notjustnat is having trouble with his knee as well. The remedy I'm coming up with is signing him up at the gym! A bit of exercise doesn't kill anyone! Hugs Nat

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
