~Pray for Paris~

Like the rest of the World I awoke to the shocking news about the tragic attacks on Paris
To think I was just there 8 short weeks ago

'Darkness cannot drive out darkness
Only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate
Only love can do that~

Martin Luther King, Jr

Thinking of Paris and France at this time and sending Prayers to this very special part of the World

it is sad .. I just hope that time is taken to BREATH and not jump into hasty reprisal and aggressive reactions .. which is what these sick people want.

On my way home from school AND a French tutoring session with a lovely woman, my husband called me. He was home watching the news, and he knows how much I love Paris, and he too has come to love the great city through my enthusiasm. He reported to me what happened, and all night I kept tossing and turning, thinking about my French friends. I am terribly heartbroken, and I honestly don't know if I want to go there again. Much love to you dear one.

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
