Windmills...and an Apron!!!

Thank you everyone for your get well wishes over the weekend...JoJo was tickled pink...and we are both on the mend now...
And also many thanks to Annabelle for my gorgeous new banner...I am loving it!!!
If you get a chance do go on over and check out her dreamy blogs...

Whilst we took it easy over the weekend...Hubby in the background making cups of tea for us I took out some fabric I had and thought I would make an apron for JoJo...blue is her favourite colour...and when we lived in the country she became enchanted with windmills!!!
Windmills are a typical scene in the Australian countryside...gently spinning in the breeze...
Along with the good ol' water tank!!!
Sewing the bias binding on...

On the ironing board...

Just about there...

One happy JoJo with her apron on!!!
She loves to see herself on my blog so I reckon she'll be coming back to this a few times!!!

And to finish off...here is the little windmill we bought for her at a country show some years back!!! She used to spin the top and play along with Wheel of Fortune when it was on the telly!!! Pretty ingenious we thought!!!

Hi Dzintra,
When our health isn’t there it is very hard to concentrate on other things. Glad to hear you two are feeling better,it was nice of hubby to take care of his girls so well!
I adore the blue apron and JoJo looks really cute in it, my favorite color is blue as well.

As for the banner I am still trying to figure out how to make it work. I think it would be very nice with the custom title in it. I’ll see what I can do for you.

Annabelle
p.s. Loved the poem!
