~A Very, Very Special Visit From My Brother~

This is the gorgeous bunch of roses that my Dear Brother gave to me on his visit to our home

JoJo scored a bunch as well
When he first presented them he said choose one and I chose the roses

Brotherly Love here
He is only 14 months younger than I am
This visit was very special as it was his first time here
He has recently had major surgery successfully and still has other issues

but we feasted on these delectable Prawns for Afternoon Tea.......played card games and it was just like Old Times!!!

And here's another look at our flowers!!!

Thank you so much Charlie and Erin for your visit
We had the BEST TIME...

Oh Dzintra, you are so lucky to have a brother! I always, always wanted one brother and never got him! teeheee....sometimes however, I think of my husband as a brother as well, so I guess I got my wish, because he's the best.

So lucky are you....to feast and play a round of a game...boys are so much fun to hang out with, aren't they? And when they come loaded with bouquets of flowers, how can you not just feel your heart melt. Big hugs to you dearest Dzintra! Anita

What a shame he doesn't live closer too you so you can more time together. You obviously get along so well. At least you make the most of the times you see each other. Isn't it lovely that he brought you and JoJo such beautiful flowers. Those prawns looked extra tasty!

How great your brother came to visit, but it's a pity you don't live close, if I understand you right. Lovely flowers he brought for you two. The prawns look very tasty.

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
