Mimi's First Beach Walk

Yesterday was the most beautiful Spring day here so Mr Armchair and I thought we would take Mimi down for her beach walk whilst JoJo was at Respite Care for a few hours and I hadn't been anywhere due to having this violent cough still

Above is her first step into a rock pool and below her first 'taste' of sea water

With Mr Armchair here

There was a new Memorial Bench here back on the grass and we took a little walk up to it

and this was the view from it......
A lovely Dedication Spot
We even talked about perhaps doing a bench also as people do really appreciate sitting on them and just looking......thinking

I've missed a singing lesson due to this bug and I hope I can get back to it this week but somehow I don't think so

I've been doing a little stitching also
I have read a book The Golden Earrings by Australian Authoress Belinda Alexandra
which I thoroughly enjoyed...

Now it's off to a new week and I'll see if I can't shake the cough off this week!!!

Have a great week.......Dzintra

Looks like a lovely part of the world Dzintra. I think I'm finally over my cough but it was a pain in the neck literally. Hopefully you'll be over it soon.

Keep silent, drink your tea, get your rest, and HUG MIMI! teehehehehehehheehh

SHE IS SOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE. Yellow labradors are my favorite, and I bet she made you giggle or even laugh as she took her first steps onto the shore. Now that would have made me cough and cough, non-stop!

My dear one, praying you get well SOON so you can continue your singing!!! HUGS, Anita

My old Nan would say, a beach walk is just what you need to blow away the germs!
I enjoyed seeing Mimi, what a beautiful young dog she is growing up to be.

Mimi is going to love her walks on that beautiful beach. I think chairs in memory of someone is the loveliest thing. Take care Dzintra, I hope your cough goes away so you can start singing again.

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
