Colour Swap Received from Annie's Dreaming!!!

Recently I signed up for a Colour Swap with Lydia's Treasures.
Yesterday I received my gifts from Annie's Dreaming...and I was not disappointed!!!

The idea was to send 6 gifts with one being handmade in a specified colour...
I nominated 'soft country colours'...

They arrived all wrapped in gorgeous paisley paper...

Jamie Oliver tea towels and barbeque basting brush...Mr Armchair thought he scored ha ha!!!

Fabric covered journal...

A Bareroots embroidery stitches book along with 2 skeins of Threadworx threads...just beautiful in 'soft warm country colours'...
and I needed this book of stitches!!!

All my goodies together!!!

Thank you so much dear Annie...I just loved my parcel to bits!!!

Good morning darling friend!

Don't you just love little goodies? These are so special and pretty and I bet you are just loving them. One of the highlights of my weekends as a child was to walk to the local shopping center (no malls back then) with my mum. She would go with her coin purse and buy me a candy bar and a spool of thread or a new notion for her sewing. Little things have always made my day. Have fun.

ANITA!

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
