Out To Play For A Day...At The Craft And Quilt Fair!!!

Well I've had a lovely day today...off to the Craft and Quilt Fair for a whole day!!! Lucky us...we were able to get some Respite Care for JoJo and I had a whole day to myself at the Fair!!! I feel like I have played for the day...did some retail therapy...met up with friends from our old town...and friends from our new town...and came across a Blogger...Sylvia

Here's Sylvia at her Stall...Hobbysew...

Jan and Sonya-Cormeaux Jones from Giggle Buttons...I had spoken to Sonya a few years ago on the phone and it was cool to meet her!!!
Some of my purchases...

One big fat book...the best kind...of Jennifer Chiaverini's Elm Tree Quilts...including The Runaway Quilt, The Quilter's Legacy and The Master Quilter...I have just recently started The Quilter's Apprentice and am thoroughly enjoying the series so far...

Had to have this Dresden place little table mat...I fell in love with these gorgeous Autumn colours...

And this beautiful stitchery with the birdy on!!!
I have had a great day thanks to being able to get some respite and now I'm all set for JoJo's birthday on the weekend...and maybe start a new project!!!

Dzintra, what fun! I'm so glad you got that day to do the things you love!

The birdie design is wonderful! And I love the dresden too. Also the book... My friend Kathy has finished hers and is bugging me to get to mine! Hopefully I can get to it soon...

Its summer here, and I have my plate full with family and friends visiting (since we live at the beach... I think our house has turned into a B&B! LOL) and I haven't had a moment to do our cook up yet! Hopefully I can get it before the next issue of Donna Hay gets here! LOL

So glad you had a great day! Such a fun post! Much love, Vicki

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
