Update on Table Runner. Paris...Noordwijkerhout and the Tasmanian Devil!!!

Wow...what do all these have in common!!! All within days of each other recently I did a little more of my Bareroots Cozy Table Runner... One of my favourite blocks...'sheltering'
This runner is designed so that people sitting either side of the table can see stitching right side up...a clever idea I thought!!! This is one side...see the centre heart facing you...
...and now the other way!!!

This one will be 'cozy'...

and 'happy'...Like this runner is named...it is just a cozy one, perfect for the upcoming Winter.
And through the mail a postcard from my Dear Friend Georgina (no blog) who recently went to Paris along with some friends of hers to watch their Daughter dance at the Moulin Rogue!!! If you click Paris it will take you to an interactive site on the web...
Thank you Georgina!!!

And within days of Paris comes another postcard...this time from my Dear Blogging Friend Simone This card comes from Noordwijkerhout a town and Municipality in the Western Netherlands in the Province of South Holland. The town is the centre of the bulb growing region of the Netherlands, famed for its Tulips.
Thank you Sweet Simone!!!

And then from Australia's very own Island State...Tasmania...Hi-5 from a Tasmanian Devil...this little fella is now an endangered species...learn more about them here
Tasmania has some of the best...and dramatic, pristine scenery in Australia...No wonder it's known as the Holiday Isle...and certainly worth a trip to if you are ever Down Under!!!
Thank you Peter and Carol!!!
And after all that tripping around...a Chocolate Mousse for you all from the College Restaurant this week...
Enjoy...and have a great Weekend!!!

Hi Dzintra, What a wonderful post! I love your table runner! Beautiful work. I especially love the "sheltering" and the "happy" blocks. They say exactly what I feel about my home and family. The two-sided idea is wonderful!

Does it count that I love anything/everything that someone else makes with fabric? I love fabric and I even have piles of it, but I'm thinking it doesn't like me so much... for some reason it doesn't like to do what I want it to... and I hate ripping out seams! However, I'd love to join a quilting/sewing party! I could be the caterer... and make sure everyone had food and drinks while they create lovelies! (:

I hope the little devils can be saved and protected. We need them, and they need us. Vicki

Ahhhh yes! You are Dzintra! Who has spread the love of the 'Twilight' series! I read elsewhere, that Dzintra had introduced that blogger, to the series. But didn't put two and two together, so to speak. :-)

As I said to her, I can link people to loads of 'Twilight' discussion blogs, etc. But! Think I'd rather not do so, until both of you have read all the books. I'd not want you to be spoiled, as to plots, which you've not yet read.

Has the film of 'Twilight' been to your country and did you see it? We saw it in the fall. It just came out here, on DVD. My husband got it for me, as my early Birthday present. :-)

They are making the film of 'New Moon' right now, for release later this year.

Yes, we here are coming up on Spring. After a long cold Winter. But you are coming up on Autumn, my favorite of the seasons.
