It's so awful what is happening in Victoria. So many lives destroyed. I hope they are able to get the fires under control fast. Take care.

I am deeply troubled by the ravages of Nature that have been bestowed upon your beautiful nation.
May you find some comfort in knowing that many of us feel your pain and send our most sincere sympathies for those who have lost their lives, homes and hope.
Sincerely, Susan

Dear Ingrid, I am overwhelm by how many life had lost in the disaster. We are in Victoria and none of us are really save right now. We are living in a very very dry landscape. Let's play for rain. Thanks everyone for your kind and caring words. Natima

It is so very sad. I think most of the nation is simply stunned. We must do what we can for them.

It is a devastating event for those involved and simply incomprehensible for the rest of us. Everything must be done to get these people back on their feet. I know many, many Australians will work towards that end. We will all do what we can.

Early rise this morning and back here in Canada we have freezing rain warning and school bus cancellations. A snow day for the kids. I long for visiting your beautiul country but from heaven it has turned into hell in a blink of an eye, and this can happen anywhere.I pray that some of this rain comes your way.Our sincere heartfelt sympathies go out to the people of Victoria and your country.

It is so sad to hear on the news about all the tragedies that are happening as a result of the fires. It is harder when you know people living there, and one feels so helpless.
All the best,
Micki
