~A little R & R......a gift and Chookyblue's 2 year celebration~

Whilst on a bit of R & R from caring everyday for JoJo and healing I met up with Asta
While waiting for her as dusk was approaching this was my view
how pretty the Clyde River looked with lovely pinks coming in for sunset

And look how lovely is this little belated birthday gift from her

A gorgeous thread holder.....a lovely repro fat 1/4......a notebook and floral tissues!!!
Thank you so much Asta.......I love it all!!!

This weekend my Blogging Buddy Chookyblue is celebrating 2 years in her Chookshed.......YAY!!!
She has put an invite out to help her celebrate by stocking up on bubbles........nibblies......and taking time out to sew this weekend

I also hope to make a start on my Sing Bag by Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched

these are the fabrics that came with the kit!!!

So let's break open a bottle of your preferred drink

Line up the chocolate

cheese, fruit.........whatever you want and   L E T ' S   S E W
Congratulations Chookyblue
I wonder how many wonky stitches there might be LOL!!!

Happy Sewing........Dzintra xo

Hope you had a good break. Lovely gifts from atsa, the bage is very cute. I am joining in with Chooky's party, but your nibblies look much yummiest than mine! Your new quilt looks good too, great fabric.

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
