~OPAM (One Project A Month) March 2014 and Needlwork Group~

2 small projects this month for OPAM
The first is a block for part of a quilt being organized by Fiona at my Needlework group for raffle later on in the year (would love to win this one)
The quilt is Best Friends Forever by Rosalie Quinlan
Fabric is Scrumptious by Camille Roskelley

And here's a sample of some of the blocks already done!!!

And this is a secret block (can't talk about this one yet)
Thank you Sweet Peg and Kris for organizing OPAM again for another year!!!

Fiona organizes projects for us and the first one is this Chateau Rogue Pincushion

and the next is an Embroidered Sewing Bag

And here I am showing off my Gardener's Journal quilt to the group
I've changed times with this group now
Instead of going in the morning I go in the evening as I just wasn't getting to the group in good time  what with getting JoJo ready.........and then waiting for her lift to come to go to her programmes the group had already been running for nearly an hour!!!

I'm loving the new time as I am getting more done and the group has made me so very, very welcome!!!  Thank you Fiona, Asta and the rest of the girls!!!

Only thing is I am mixed up in rehearsals for 'Allo 'Allo presented by Bay Theatre Players along with Asta and I'm not getting there every week!!!
After all, I couldn't resist saying yes to sitting in French Cafe scenes!!!

Have a great week......love Dzintra

YOU are so beautiful; look at those blond locks - SUMMER CHILD! And of course, the quilting shows the painstaking details that us women care to put into our work. Dzintra, you and all the other blog friends around the world amaze me with what you do with needles and thread, wool and paints, words and ideas. FABULOUS!

Lovely projects you've been working on. You must take GJ to GDITC for show and tell. Great to be part of a group even if you can't always get there.
