~Vale...P A R I S~

This is one post I never dreamed of making...
Yesterday our sweet little Terrier * P A R I S * was run over and didn't survive...
She used to sit at the top of the stairs and be 'on guard' while I was in my sewing room

We're pretty certain that she got out through the back fence as our new neighbour on the weekend was there pulling down lattice and plants and didn't realize that a paling was made loose as he ripped it all down...

I mentioned to my Friend Tracey through Facebook that she was missing and if she saw her could she let us know...
As soon as I sent the message she rang and said she had heard off a friend that there was a Terrier who had not survived a four wheel/drive towing a caravan running into her and that the local Vet had such a doggie there...

Mr Armchair quickly zipped up to the Vet as I prepared to get ready to go to the Theatre and yes....he came home with her....we were all very very sad...

She was at a local cafe/bakery that morning and they gave her a pie (she would've loved that) and locked her up but unfortunately she escpaed........

At least she is back home here and we know what happened to her
I have heard of stories where people never find out what happens to their beloved Pets

We'll miss you   * P A R I S *
Thank you for a wonderful 9 years and 10 months xoxoxoxoxo
I still can't believe it......

Oh, my dear friend....I am so, so very sorry.
There really are no words, what a precious one she was...
I am sending you and your family a tight hug, dearest Dzintra.
This may sound selfish, but as an adult I have yet to have pets of my own...it is so painful when they leave us, I have experienced the loss of four kitties at my parent's home.
Bless you, my friend...
Love,
- Irina

Oh my dear heart....I am sitting here outside of the classroom where I take a writing course, and I thought I would hop into blogland....my heart hurts for you and I cannot believe it. I see my beloved best friend Irina is here, and she and I both have the same feelings about pets...we love them so much that to loose them tears us apart....I cannot imagine how you feel at this moment. How is JOJO taking it? At least she came home to STAY HOME with you. Oh I am so sad for you. Anita

Oh sweet Dzintra,

Jojo is so darling to buffer the pain. I know she hurt, but her resilience is remarkable to learn from! What a fabulous idea to dedicate the quilt to little Paris, ta petite chienne! Oh dear, I better get outta here before I start sobbing!!!! HUGS TO YOU. Love hurts and that is what makes it beat furiously in our hearts.

LOVE! Anita

Good morning precious friend!

Oh, what a great idea to have this quilt for and ABOUT Paris; to snuggle up to it, to hold it, what a wonderful idea to keep her CLOSE TO YOU. AND you know now, don't you, that the experience in the theatre with friends, colleagues and the thrill of the arts is a life-changing gift. BRAVO. AND TO YOU, I wish many more auditions, performances and connections made with thriving artists that give of themselves. HOW BLESSED YOU ARE, HOW BLESSED WE ALL ARE!! Anita

Sending hugs to you and Anita here!
Dzintra, I hope there will be other plays to do...many more to look forward to.
That is indeed quite a commitment, and six months! It is probably a good thing that you have a bit more time for yourself with the holidays coming up.
So glad to know that you are well, dear friend...
I have my new Donna Hay...and a cook-up is in the works ;)...
Love to you,
- Irina

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
