~Needlework Group Projects~

Here are a couple of projects from my Needlework Group run by Fiona and assisted by Shirley
The first is a Baskets of Flowers zippered pouch in beige/red

and another in green and brown
For a tutorial very similar to these go over here

An appliqued tea towel

Scissor Keep

and finally this bag with stitchery
I swear I have enough projects to last me forever but I can't help collecting them
And yes, I will get around to doing them!!!

This weekend there is an Airing of the Quilts up in historic Braidwood, the first town to be listed on the New South Wales Register
And have fun gals to the ones going to Hatched and Patched at Bathurst for a blog meet......one of these days I will hopefully get there....

Happy Weekend....Dzintra xo

Good morning special friend! Ooooo, those scissor pouches are just the sweetest things....I have one that a friend made me and I just adore it. Ahhhh...we are stuffed to the gills with turkey from last night, but happy because we got our first snow fall as I was serving the dinner. Now that is the way Thanksgiving is supposed to be here!

Sending you warm wishes for a fun and lovely day! Anita

Hello Dzintra,

This is exactly why the sayings like there is always next year, saving it for later come in handy and are so true. Happy collecting, that is half the fun isn't it.

Happy days.

I so agree with Bev, half the fun is in the collecting of all future projects! I also have another theory.... now I don't have a wage coming in, I have lots of projects still at hand from my days of collecting... win, win!!!
Hope you had a lovely day at the quilt airing Miss Dzintra..

Look at all those lovely projects. I really hope to get to Braidwood for the airing of the quilts one day. I booked one year but had to cancel. I bet the other get together was fun too.

Good evening (for me that is!) Dzintra! Oh yes my dear, seeing your comment reminds me of our Thanksgiving being so special, with the first snowfall of the season welcoming in our thanks. And my husband is a real support indeed. He is hobbling along beside me for he hurt his knee again! I believe he overdid the stair climbing this summer and his knee swelled, but an ACE bandage helped bring down the swelling but now the swelling is down to his ankle!

I hope you are well. Is JoJo excited about Christmas?

LOVE TO YOU! Anita

Yes, my friend, I will be purchasing ingredients this week, can't wait!
Dear Anita and I were thinking of each other as we watched that snowfall, I believe! :))
Much love to you,
