Colour Swap Sent and Received to Annie's Dreaming...

I recently participated in a Colour Swap hosted by Lisa...
My Swapping Buddy turned out to be Annie from Annie's Dreaming...

Included in Annie's brief was that she started out a real country coloured person and now loving tomato reds...

I can now finally reveal my Swap Gifts to Annie...

Patchwork Travel Case...

highlighting a tomato red by Sandy Gervais
I included some snips...a 'velvet' pencil (I love these)...red thread, tape measure and an Anni Downs little kit...

Needlecase by Anni...

Pin Cushion...

and reversed...

all together...

Included were a chocolate (neccesity)...some little pegs with red flower highlight...I find these great for hanging little stitcheries with on to a hanger...
tape with 'Vintage' on it...of course in red!!!

I'm still loving this sticky tape...

I even stuck a little piece on the front of each parcel!!!

Something very special has happened here...
I think the 'country' in Annie has hooked up with the 'country' in me and we are absolutely thrilled with our gifts!!!

A very special and heartfelt thank you to Lisa for arranging this swap and partnering me up with Annie...
we are enjoying getting to know each other!!!

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
