Good morning beautiful sista!

Your comment was so beautiful to me my dear Dzintra. I know many a boy and girl who felt a closeness to me as a mother. It would always steal my heart away to know that I acted as a role model for these children. Our system however and the stresses that parents also feel compound and just make this noble profession a difficult task that takes a toll on a teacher's life. I thank you for sharing your lovely thoughts with me. OH! Every time I see this post of yours, I am reminded of a GORGEOUS old French book that I have a picture of. It is a book where the pages are FABRIC and each page has embroidery on it! I must make one, a small one.. that means I have to whip out my embroidery needles and thread!!! LOVE TO YOU! Anita

All that beautiful handiwork is so very lovely! Oh, about the 'Sew Somerset' Winter 2012 issue with the toile French phamphlet book, you may be able to order it online straight from Stampinton.com I think they do mail to other countries. Also, on Etsy, sometimes you can find the Stampington publications, if the seller would mail to Australia. I find many back issues that are now not in print in 'Supplies' in Etsy.
I have found Art Doll Quarterly, PRIMS, Cloth, Paper, Scissors which is an Interweave.com publication. If you go to the Interweave site, they have a really cool newsletter where they have free tutorials you can download along with constant updates of their publications. It's great fun!
Have a lovely week!

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
