This blog is all about me......I come here for respite in between caring for JoJo (our Daughter who has Special Needs)......I am addicted to starting new projects......I am becoming a fabric-a-holic... I love to try out recipes... take a beach walk and breathe in that salty blue to have coffee...sip a glass of a book......I am Queen of the Armchair and am inspired by all the wonderful blogs out there!!!

The Simple Woman's Day Book...and, it's MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Here's something fun I have come across in blogland...The Simple Woman's Day Book...a few easy questions to answer and a participate go over and visit  Peggy...

Outside my window...a beautiful Autumn day on the coast here...with a gentle cool breeze

I am wonderful the world of blogging is and all the friendships made and how much I have learnt from I have been inspired by so many

I am thankful complications as my arm heals from a fractured humerus, in 2 places

From the learning rooms...never to take my body for granted ...especially my arms

From the kitchen (last night) Mr Armchair made dinner, as he has for the past 8 weeks...

Panfried Flathead Fillets
Mashed Potatoes
Zucchini with Red Onion and Sage

I am wearing...cream Track pants by Laura Ashley...a bargain at $20

Black National Art Gallery tshirt...Bonjour, Masters of Paris
Beigy loose fitting cardigan, so my arm can fit in nicely

I am creating...a cross stitch using a 'stitching cushion' to support my arm

A decorative cushion I made to just sit there and look nice...and it is has turned out to be the perfect support for my arm as I work on a small cross-stitch...

I am enjoy my Birthday on Sunday...a Harry Potter day!!!

I am reading...The Distant Hours by Kate Morton

I am hoping...that my shoulder regains full use within the 12 months

I am hearing...CD Reiki Gold by Llewellyn

Around the house...JoJo has gone for the day to her day programmes...

Mr Armchair is pottering around...and soon we will together make Bouef Bourguignon for tomorrow first venture in cooking whilst still healing...after all...I can direct ha ha

One of my favorite things...candle flame

A few plans for the rest of the week:  Birthday weekend...Son and Daughter coming...Grandson here next week...Physio appointment...Much Love, Laughter and Happiness, and a burning candle

Here is picture for thought I am sharing... hard can it be???

If the weather holds out this weekend we might get down to the beach...nothing like breathing in those negative ions... and coming back all refreshed!!!

And here's cheers to all the April birthdays out there...and especially to you dear Anita
I'm going to kick back and enjoy this one...after all, a glass of pink bubbles weighs less than the 2 litres of milk I can pick up...good physiotherapy, non!!!

lurking at your blog... the stitchery looks familiar

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
