OPAM 2011...and I can't keep away from the beach!!!

I wasn't going to...but I did!!!
I have joined OPAM (One Project A Month) 2011 again for this year...
hosted by Peg and Kris...

First project is this little coffee pot warmer from Homespun magazine...

I ended up changing the centre button...
and love this little warmer...it gets used every day!!!
I ended up putting some woolen wadding in it and it keeps the coffee warm for ages!!!

I saw this lovely little kit at my local patchwork shop Steph's and immediately bought it...

and quickly made up the kit...

Thinking it looked like it needed something I added these little red velvety baubles...I totally believe in 'more is more' LOL!!!

I then went on to make another 3...2 in the blue and 2 in softer colours!!!

With the weather here now just how I like it...
I can't keep away from the beach!!!
Back soon...Dzintra

Kafijas kanniņai tagad irtik skaisti un silti bruncīši. Un maciņi kartēm ir jauki, īpaši ar sarkanajām maliņām.
Ak, tik jauki būt pludmalē... Mums vēl tik daudz sniega...

Wow love the purse xxx
Look at that beach I could just do with some of that warmth right now. ha ha.
Thank you so much for your support, I felt so sorry for myself until I really though about it and then I felt selfish so now I'm ok again and I'm going to enjoy catching up on your really inspirational and beautiful posts.
Love Lynn xxx

Dzintra!! I LOVE YOUR NEW HEADER! Oh, now I am not a beach bunny, but I do love WALKING along the beach and being near it. You are making me long to be in the fresh WARM air for we have had a vicious winter. But all is well here, and I continue to DANCE my way through with a smile. Everything looks lovely. I 'm sure it's the extra touches you add that makes things look so decadent. Yummy.
