Sparkly Winners Are Grinners...and a very special Irish Giveaway!!!

Sparkly Ric-Rac on my new Apron!!! Today my DH worked from home...quite a cool day here on the coast...this afternoon just as I was about to go and pick JoJo up he grabbed the key to the letterbox and came back with the mail...First suprise of the afternoon was this gorgeous hand made, water coloured bookmark of a sea horse...complete with sparkles... sent to me by Kath in England!!! This was completely unexpected...out of the blue and I was so thrilled!!! And to think that this Sparkly Seahorse was on Kath's blog only last week!!!
If you get a chance hop on over to Kath's blog and see some of her craft work from her railway cottage...and you'll see some of her fabric postcards...bookmarks of course...tales of Glastonbury Castle...and a great range of topics!!!

~Sparkly Seahorse~ all ready for my next read...
And from one fellow bookworm to another...Thank You Dear Kath!!!
We came back in, put Sparkly Seahorse onto the table and blow me down...in that short space of time a package had arrived onto the front verandah!!!

My Giveaway Win from Margaret...with a lovely photographed card...

'From our Seaside to yours', how cool is this I thought!!!

I had no idea what I had won...this was a complete surprise as I opened the package and saw this red fabric and wondered what is this...

A vintage style apron...wow!!!

I put it on...went up the hallway and thought as I admired it in the mirror...

grab the camera and take a pic!!!

Wonderful...this is great...I always wear an apron when cooking...

and am slowly adding them to my growing collection!!!

Under the apron was this bag...and what a wonderful size this is...

Margaret...this is fantastic...I'm a real apron and bag gal...I reckon you can never have too many of either!!!

Do check out Margaret's blog if you get a chance...Cosmos and Chrysanthemums and read what goes on in her part of the world...

Thank you so very very much girls...You both made my day!!!

And here's a cool Irish Giveaway from Micki, over in Ireland of course!!!

Giveaway includes an Irish Blessing dish towel...Irish Chain Quilt pattern...and other goodies!!

Micki is celebrating her Blogoversary and 10,000 hits so pop on over and say hi!!!

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
