this time from issue December/January 2011 from Donna Hay magazine!!!
If any one would like to join in...it's easy,
just cook something from an issue and blog it!!!
The menu tonight...
Bacon wrapped Veal with Horseradish Potatoes
Blueberry, Apple and Coconut Crumble...
Cover of this issue...
Veal frying...
and in no time it's all ready...
the Veal is speared with a Rosemary sprig...
With tomato on the side...
The Crumble out of the oven...
My Crumble...
Donna's Crumble...
and in the bowl all ready to go...
I have to say this would have to be one of the best Crumbles I have had...
Meanwhile with these Moda Charm Squares I have decided to make a Quilt for my Mum's special birthday coming up...
Squares all out of the pack...
putting them together...
I thought I would use this pattern from Moda Bake Shop...
the same as I used for Mr Armchair's 'Berry Christmas' Quilt...
this is Mr Armchair's Quilt...and now I'm not sure whether I want to cut these charms now or not as they look so pretty!!!
Stay tuned to see what I have done!!!

Hello Dzintra, the veal and crumble look absolutely delicious. I have one Donna Hay cooking book, I love her recipes, they always turn out well!!! I must look for the crumble recipe. Your potatoes look delicious also. Have a lovely day! Ann
Tempting food which I'm sure was delish. The charm pack is great. I recently saw a bag made of floral squares and a twin needle was used for the cross hatch quilting. Stunning.
Awaite your choice.
That crumble looks absolutely amazing! :o I must look up that recipe in time for winter! :D
Hi Dzintra,

Oh Dzintra your cook-up looks soooo delicious! Your Moda squares look almost good enough to eat as well! So good to read your words. I've missed all this, but life seems to be having its way with my life and time right now... no time to blog... at least for now. I hope to get back to it soon. In the meantime... thank you thank you for keeping on with the cook-ups. If I can't join right now, at least I can enjoy yours! Hope all is well at your home in the Great Down Under~ xxxVicki
