Faith...Hope...and Love
Many thank yous to you all dear Friends for the sincere heartfelt comments received on my last post...It truly is such a blessing knowing that you are all out there with your support, including all the many wonderful quilting/sewing sites...everybody is doing what they can...the Spirit is so generous at times like this... Words do seem inadequate at a time like this...but in a way these can be comforting...
And now these three remain...Faith...Hope...Love. But the greatest of these is Love...

Welcome To My World
Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)
Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...

Dear Ingrid, Faith Hope and Love is so true. We are hanging on to it for dear life. Victorians are not out of danger from the fires yet. Quilting and friends are comforting and I am hanging on to both of those...! Love Natima
My sentiments exactly - big hugs to you, Dzintra♥
Dear D,
This is so devastating! I have been thinking of you, your family, and the many readers I have from Australia. I pray that you are all okay. I will be in touch soon.

Remembering you all in our prayers.
Dzintra it is so sad...We are all feeling their pain.
If only we could reach out to them all with big hugs.
Julia ♥
Such a lovely sentiment and pretty wallhanging. Most appropriate given the circumstances.
Ann :)
My thoughts are with you and the Australian people in these days.
Such a pretty wall hanging for this difficult period! I hope it gives all those victims a feeling of hope-love-faith!
I feel so much for all of you. You're in my heart and prayers right now. I just watched the video clip of Sam the Koala. That small story made me that that some good can come of the worst of times. It touched me so much that we humans can and do connect with animals and eachother in times of great need. What a story, and I'm sure there are so many more like it. We will keep tuned. If there is anything we over here can do, let us know. In the meantime, we send our hearts.
It's a gorgeous wall hanging and very heartfelt. Lovely work!

Oh Dzintra, this was my gorgeous Dad's favourite passage from Corinthians! It has reminded me of the courageous way he lived his life, full of tenacity, good humour & abundant love. May our Victorian neighbours draw strength from those traits as well.
