I hope all my lovely readers have had a wonderful Christmas break and are enjoying these lazy days of the New Year!!!
For my final OPAM (One Project a Month) for 2013 I used Anni Downs' Christmas fabric line
and this pattern
to make 2 needlecases and 2 scissor fobs which were my OPAM for October
and this little sewing basket.....I ended up making 2 baskets
Meanwhile I have chosen a couple of new projects to work on (I love to start new projects) in the New Year. The first one is the Sing bag by Anni Downs again.
This bag will be perfect to take along with me to my lessons
I bought the kit last year intending to starting it now!!!
Also I have chosen a quilt from this book Layer Cake, Jelly Roll and Charm Quilts by
Pam and Nicky Lintott
called 'Diamonds at Large'
I'm going to make it for my Brother for his birthday later in the year as he has serious health issues
I'm going to be using a Collections for a Cause Layer Cake that I have been saving for just the right occasion!
Happy New Year and Happy Stitching......love Dzintra

It's a lovely set, no wonder you made one for yourself too. Great new projects, and the quilt for your brother is a lovely idea.
Happy New Year to you too Dzintra. That Diamonds at large quilt will be gorgeous. Your brother will treasure it.
My holidays are over now. I'm back at work today :( - Hugs Nat

Thank you for your lovely visit to my blog. I wish I could sit with you on your beautiful seashore and sip tea. I admire all of your sewing and stitching! I grew up embroidering ( do not know if that is a word!) with my Mom. I have purchased new needles and thread to begin again this year. Give your sweet JoJo a hug from me xxo
